The gimbal of the camera accurately responds to the flight dynamics, holds the image stably, responds smoothly to the turns of the drone, and counteracts the impact of vibrations caused by the movement of the quadcopter and the influence of the wind. The Mavic 3 is claimed to be wind resistant up to 12 meters per second.
An important point during the operation of the copter is to eliminate the risk of collision with any kind of obstacles in flight. Thanks to Advanced RTH wide-angle omnidirectional sensors, advanced working algorithms and a high-performance processor, the APAS 5.0 obstacle detection system is able to smoothly bypass any kind of obstacles, follow an object in the forest. The latest ActiveTrack 5.0 with finer and more precise sensors for tracking an object while moving when the aircraft is following you, for example. The flight characteristics of the Mavic 3 are significantly superior to previous models in the lineup. OcuSync 3.0 – video transmission is available up to 15 km. The maximum flight range is 30 km, and the height is 6000 meters. DJI have increased the flight time of the copter tremendously. The drone can stay in the air for up to 46 minutes, although in previous models it reached the mark of 25 minutes. This was made possible thanks to a new battery with a larger capacity, which could not but affect the weight of the copter, it became heavier and weighs 895 grams. In addition, the battery landing site has changed, now it installs from the back, instead of being installed from above, as it was before. The battery has a convenient luminous charge scale. It charges quite quickly, within 1 hour 30 minutes. The maximum flight speed is 75 km/h.
The quality of signal transmission has improved significantly, the drone does not lose connection even when it is behind large concrete structures relative to the controller. Satellite positioning, Mavic now communicates with GPS, Glonass, Galileo and China’s BeiDou satellite navigation system.
